Washing your frottee towelling
Our towelling products are from best quality. No special care is needed in order for them to stay soft and absorbent. Nevertheless, if you follow our guidelines you will enjoy the pleasure of your towelling for many years.
Wash at 40º, according to the care label.
Use a colour detergent for coloured towelling..
Do not use detergents that contain bleach or whitening agents as these may result in bleaching of coloured towelling. Always wash with a full load and separate light and dark colours.
An insufficient or overfull load can tax the wash in the drum and cause pilling. Colour variations may occur as a result of using a cold or lukewarm “delicate wash” function.
Please wash at 40° as particularly bright colours often contain a certain dye, which runs if washed at the wrong temperature. Please use conditioner sparingly as too much results in the material not absorbing water. Drying – towelling is best dried in a tumble dryer. Pulled threads are no problem! Towelling is a worsted yarn, which means that pulled threads can be simply cut off. Never pull them out. Avoid washing towelling along with articles of clothing with hooks and/or zips.
